Wanted: Wanted: 94-97 Miata

I'm in the market for a 1.8L first-gen Miata. I've looked at a few now and haven't found one I'm happy with yet. So I'm asking the community out there if they know of any they can point me to.

Must have: - Zero rust - Torsen - Stock or fairly close to it

The rest I don't care that much about. Color, I prefer the darker colors, not a fan of white or light blue, but the rest are OK. First choice would probably be black. As far as condition, the cleaner the better, but if something is priced right I'll overlook some cosmetic issues. High miles aren't a deterrent as long as the car is mechanically sound. Hard top would be nice but not essential. Slight preference for the 94-95 cars for OBD1, but it doesn't make all that much difference.

I'm in Michigan, but I'm willing to travel a bit for the right car. The closer the better, and I'm going to want to see lots of pictures before I decide to drive 300 miles to go look at something. I'd really rather stay within a day's drive, but I'm somewhat flexible on this.

Willing to spend up to $4000, preferably less, but it depends on the condition of the car. I have cash in hand and I'm in no hurry. Contact tom "dot" spangler "at" gmail "dot" com if you know of any cars meeting my requirements.

What's this?

If you're reading this, you've probably seen these odd links with funny names somewhere on the site and want to know what they're all about. Well, prepare to feel a bit more Net savvy. Those links are what the geeks call "social networks."

Social networking sites allow you to store and share links and pages across the Internet. It's like taking your bookmarks list and being able to see it from any computer.

Even better, social networks allow you to steer friends, relatives, colleagues and pretty much anyone else to the cool stuff you've found, so they have something better to do online than watching the skateboarding squirrel video on YouTube for the thirtieth time. You're making the world a better place.

The only catch is that while all the social networks are free, you do have to register. Each site has a slightly different focus, so take a look through the links and see which service suits you best.

You'll need to log in or register to comment.
