If you have a problem with your subscription, we'll be happy to fix it for you. There are a few things that help us out, however. Below are some guidelines for getting help with a subscription problem.
Problem: My latest issue never arrived.
- Your magazine may simply be lost en route to your house.
- Your postal carrier may also be a fan of the magazine.
- Your subscription may have expired.
- Did you move and not let us know?
- There was a sudden cold snap and we needed something to burn.
- Your payment never made it to us. (In this case, check your bank or credit card statements for record of payment.)
Problem: I paid for a subscription a few weeks ago and I still haven't seen anything.
- Most subscriptions take 4 - 6 weeks to take affect. Since we're bi-monthly, your order will often get caught in the two-month cycle between issues. Be patient. It should arrive shortly.
- Your payment never made it to us. (In this case, check your bank or credit card statements for record of payment.)
- How else do you think we can afford to go on Carribean cruises every couple of weeks?
Problem: I asked for a sample copy or requested to be billed for a subscription a few weeks ago, and I still haven't seen anything.

- You have requested a sample or "bill me" subscription once before. In this instance, our computer won't let another order be entered until payment is received for the current order.
Problem: I ordered some back issues yesterday, and I still haven't received them.
- Due to the fact that we only have one - that's right, one - person handling all mailings, which includes back issue and other merchandise orders, we can sometimes get backed up a few days. Orders are usually shipped one to two weeks after being ordered, but since they mail first class they arrive fairly quickly. Please be patient with us, and keep in mind the fact that we are truly grassroots as the name says.
