Join hosts Tim & Margie Suddard as they show you the unseen back roads and laid-back destinations known only to longtime Floridians—including St. Augustine, Citra, DeLand, Deleon Springs and more. This year we’re also ranging north to add some plantation flavor into the mix for a true Deep South outing.

2015 Orange Blossom Tour Highlights

The Orange Blossom Tour will begin and end in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. The tour highlights some of northern Florida's most scenic routes. The complete tour route has not been decided yet for 2016, but once it is, you can find details here.

Accommodations & Menu

Accommodations will be at premium and historic hotels, and most meals are included. Menus will vary from traditional Florida cracker fare to world-class plated dinners. Luggage transport is provided, so owners of smaller classics need not worry about limited trunk space. Speaking of no worries, mechanics and a “sag wagon” will be along. New BMWs are also available at no charge if your car breaks.
CARS: Open to any and all classic, exotic and sports cars.
COST: $4995 per car (double occupancy).

FAQ

WHAT? A welcome reception on Day 1, followed by a four-day, laid-back, leisurely tour encompassing scenic back roads and attractions in North and Central Florida. Don’t believe what you’ve heard about all Florida roads being flat and straight! We will blow you away with the quality of roads and scenery.

WHERE? The Classic Motorsports Orange Blossom Tour will depart Amelia Island, Florida, and end up back on the Island, just in time for Concours activities. We’ll experience some of the most picturesque paved roads Florida has to offer. You’ll visit Florida’s best hidden tourist venues. This will be a real insider’s look at historic Florida.

ACCOMMODATIONS & MENU? The majority of our overnight accommodations will be at historical locations. With the exception of one dinner, all meals are inclusive and part of the tour. Our menus will vary from traditional Florida cracker fare to world class, plated dinners.

COST? $4995 per car (double occupancy). Have three or more people in your car? Want separate hotel rooms? Please, feel free to contact Rick Goolsby (rick@ClassicMotorsports.net) for additional pricing.

DRIVING STYLE? We will send out cars at around 8:30-9:00 am each morning. You can leave early, late, run on your own or follow your hosts, if you’re worried about getting lost or don’t want to navigate. We will have mechanics running sweep with a trailer in case anyone breaks down.

CARS? The Classic Motorsports Orange Blossom Tour is open to any and all classic, sports, exotic, racing and GT cars. And yes, if your car breaks at the last minute and you need to rent a car, you still may come.

ROAD ASSISTANCE? The Classic Motorsports van and trailer will follow the entire tour. The van will be equipped with two excellent mechanics. Our sponsors, Chubb Classic Car insurance also provide additional mechanical assistance and support to all entrants at no charge. We’ll also be carrying parts and tools in order to get your vehicle fixed and back on the road, if necessary, we can carry your luggage for you as well.

PAPERWORK? All drivers must have a valid driver’s license, whether domestic or foreign. All vehicles must be registered and insured or carry an appropriate dealer or transporter tag. There will also be a Hold Harmless Agreement and an In Case of Emergency contact form provided. These forms will need to be filled out and signed prior to the tour.

AIRPORTS? Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is closest to Amelia Island. If you’re flying in on Sunday, give us a call. We’ll pick you up and transport you to the Ritz Carlton.

CAR TRANSPORT? Reliable Carriers is the preferred provider. Give them a call at (734) 453-6677.

DO WE GET TICKETS TO THE AMELIA ISLAND CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE? No, this tour formally ends before the Concours weekend. That said, we have worked a special VIP package for Orange Blossom Tour participants that includes the following, all at the discounted rate of $175 per person.

March 7:
We are underway! Some really fantastic cars have showed up this year.

January 12:
So over the holiday break, I drove the entire Orange Blossom Tour route in preparation for the route book. I have to tell you that this is going to be a keeper of a route. The roads are going to be really good Florida and Georgia backroads that you won't believe existed. The hotels and restaurants are all excited about the tour coming to town and are eager to see the cars and meet the serve the guests. If you have not signed up yet, there are still a couple of spots left, so don't wait and miss out on this route.

December 27:
If you are a fan of endurance sports car racing and everything Porsche, you will love who will be joining us for our Welcome dinner at the LeClos. Multi time winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, 24 Hours of LeMans, and 12 Hours of Sebring, Hurley Haywood.

We have a new support vehicle for the 2016 Orange Blossom Tour. It comes in the shape of a 1973 Ford F-350 ramp truck.

September 10:
Register before September 15 and we'll cut a whopping $500 from the registration price.

August 26:
This year the Orange Blossom Tour will feature a friendly competitive aspect as well. Three events will be held along the tour, including a concours, competitive road rally and a track event at The FIRM.

August 19:
Day 2 of the 2016 Orange Blossom Tour will visit Skipper’s Fish Camp on the scenic Darien River.

July 21:
