Mine, totally affiliated.

Edit: CL add: http://sd.craigslist.org/cto/5198499610.html

I just bought a new truck and this one is superfluous. It's been my winter dd and all around stuff mover for the last 5 years and 80k miles.

Details: Std. Cab, short bed 165k miles W/T, so crank windows, rubber floor, manual locks

Good: Sliding rear window, clarion cd player, factory hitch, trailer brake controller, folding center jumpseat, tailgate lock

Bad: Rusty door sills and bubbles starting over rear wheel wells, front bumper tweaked, random scratches in paint, ac belt broke and needs to be replaced, sounds like front wheel bearing is on the way out, abs light on, o2 sensor trouble code, the first hint of an exhaust leak and one broken spring leaf in the back.

The extras: Comes with: New belts, entire new front suspension parts (tie rod ends, ball joints, etc), replacement rear springs, replacement used front bumper, replacement door sills, white DIY bedliner kit for rustproofing, factory fender flares (will cover rust bubbles), new o2 sensor, and even a Westin brush guard for a 2500 that will work if you fab up some mounting brackets. Can include a lightweight aluminum topper or heavy steel utility topper, both with doors on the sides and a set of 18" Nissan truck rims that work great.

I haven't been able to give this truck the down time it needs to get back in tip-top shape. The 4.8l runs excellent, more power than it has any right to have, but it is getting to the point where internet lore says the transmission should spontaneously explode any minute. It's priced for someone with more time than me to buy it, install the parts I will send home with it, and have a great truck at a great price even if they have to put a transmission in it. One of you scavengers could probably part it out and end up with a free 4.8L LS motor and controlly bits.

If no interest I'll probably try and get most of the issues fixed and jack the price up when the snow flies.

Email at (my screen name)2@yahoo dot com or pm through here. I'd also be willing to drive this anywhere for gas money from zip 57223.

Even with the issues that sounds like a great deal

Trust it to drive from you to WV to FL and then back to WV hauling a trailer? Closest airport/train/bus station to you?

If you were going that far I would probably check the front wheel bearing for you and swap it out before you came if it is bad. Otherwise I would drive it anywhere. I put 700 miles on it last week.

Closest is Watertown, SD, but I'll pick someone up in Sioux Falls, Fargo, Omaha, or Minneapolis if flights/train/bus is easier or cheaper.

Not an extended cab, nor a SUV. A little high on the mileage, but it's owned by someone on here, and is new enough I'm not concerned about loosing too much on the deal. I'm looking at a fly and drive, but I thought I would share what the OP shared with me for pics.

It's amazing to me how quickly stuff rusts.

Quick edit: Replaced the belts, and the AC is now working again. I tried the used bumper I have, and it turns out it's not the right one, so the tweaked one will stay. I drilled a couple of holes in it and quickly attached the brush guard just to get it out of the bed.

I cleared the O2 code just to see what was going on, and it's stayed clear for a couple days of driving. I'll probably replace the sensor anyway this weekend.

New pics on the craigslist add as of today, cleaned up and ready to go.

How's the body mounts and frame? Are they as rusty as the rockers?

And the truck left today with a happy c-lister who's taking it back to MN, where it will soon return to the earth. Thanks for the interest guys!
