Quite a bit of other interesting hardware parked there too.

Carbureted 300? I hope you have realistic towing expectations, because my injected 351w ramp truck is slow enough.

That said, price is hard to argue with and it looks good.

Wow. I’ve been watching that—it was $2k a few weeks ago.

300cid w/ 4 speed. Does that mean that 1st gear is a stump puller and at 60mph your near the top end of 4th gear?

Seems that way. I think 1st is 4:1 and 2nd is 2.4:1, 4th would be direct drive (no OD). With that engine, I'd start it in first any time I was carrying a load.

Never had any issues towing a 70 GTX on a heavy trailer with my '81 E150 with a manual trans (no granny/OD 4th gear)  Peak torque comes in nice and low @ 1600 RpM.

60 is optimistic. I still like it, I’m in no hurry.

Ive driven 2 vans of similiar weight and years one with the 300 one with the 351 and can say that by seat of pants they feel very similiar, the 300 has torque at barely off idle and you have to rev the 351 before you get anywhere near the torque. The,im guessing t18, has 6.32 for the 1st gear

Both were fuel injected though
