I need FMV because it's an inside deal. A friend of mine bought this radiator online with a lifetime warranty. A couple of years go by and it develops a leak at the drain plug. He called them up and they sent him a new radiator after he sent pictures of the leak. They did not want the old one back. He was going to trash it when I asked for it so I got it free.

I want to FMV it as free because:

A) The radiator company didn't want it.

B) My friend didn't want it.

C) I got it for free.

What do you 50 post GRMers say?

Id say $10 bucks for a known leaking radiator. 20 if its the perfect size and easy to fix.

Pullapart here wants 52.50 after all the fees and a 30 day warranty for a radiator. If that helps from the corporate listing angle.

Came out of a Jeep so would need to be custom mounted.

IMHO a leaking radiator is scrap.

i got one free because the mice built nests inside it.

You could probably get about 7$ for it...

This was gonna be my answer as well. Weigh it, and FMV it at "dirty" aluminum scrap value.

So far I have $10, scrap, and $7.  I'm good with $10 if I can get 5 of you guys to agree.

It's certainly not worth any more than $10.

In for $10, or scrap, whichever benefits you more.

That's at least an $11 radiator.

In reply to Tom Suddard :

Maybe but I've got 5 to agree to $10. Actually 6 including me. I noticed that the rule didn't excluded the OP from being one of the 5.

The radiator is worthless but the raw materials are priceless, so let's split the difference and call it $10 cheeky
