i once saw a running driving miata with hardtop for $500. it sold very quickly. i would guess the one you found has the small crank nose issue that may or may not be repairable but that is still a good price as I had little trouble finding a good complete miata drivetrain for $400.

I missed a good hardtop over by Gulf Shores for $350. It was posted at 8pm on a Sunday night & there’s no way I could make it there & back on a weeknight.
