They are 5x100. Will fit Mk3 stuff with VR6's, Mk4s, and thats about it as far as VW is concerned. The majority of Audi's and newer VW's are 5x112.

Dodge Daytona (89) also has same bolt pattern. I also have an 03 GTI. I have not tried to swap between vehicles. Quick way to check your cars bolt pattern is to go on Tire Rack website, enter your car info, then go to wheels. The info is listed in wheel specs.

They would also fit a Subaru...what size are the tires?

they should fit Subarus as they are 5x100, but i dont know what center bore is on Subarus. VW wheels, I believe, is 57.1.

Subaru bore is a lot larger- I wanna say it's in the 60's or 70's.

ah. So it could work backwards. If i were to put STI wheels on a VW, they would fit, with hub rings!

STi's 2005 to current are all 5x114.3. 2004 STi is 5x100. Legacy, Impreza, and Forester are 5x100. Tribeca is 5x114.3. All Subaru's use a much higher offset (50+mm) versus the 35mm offset typically used by VW.

All of the info I've been able to find indicated a hub diameter of 56.1mm. I'll have to check one of mine with a mic. some time soon.

I knew about the offset difference, I wouldn't mind a set of wheels sticking out 1" further than O.E., the stockers are tucked too far in, if you ask me.

Yes, I have rolled my fenders. I used to run 225/50's at SOLO2 events.

Actually the Subaru Hub Bore is smaller,

The VW (and Chrysler) is 57.1mm while the Subaru is 56.1 or 54.1mm. Remember if using a factory VW wheel you MAY need to source ball style lug nuts, and you will not find them at Dangerzone ;)
