My 1962 Beetle (built Oct. 1961) has a 1970 1600 (dual port) engine with a Solex 34 carb. The pans have some rust, but it's not a "Flintstone-mobile". It has the "Baja Bug" fiberglass body kit. It has a clear MI title and the VINs (chassis/title) match. I'm not really a "Bug Guy". But after getting it as a "basket case" (the engines really came in a basket) and putting a lot of work into it, she runs! It has all new gaskets, plugs and such. I also will include an extra 1500 engine that's more or less complete with a Solex 30 carb.

    $1600 or best...

Give me a call in Three Rivers @ (269) 279-5613 and check it out

I'd love to take one of these and make it a vintage rally racer...
