This looks like a car someone here would snatch up for $750.

1964 Renault Dauphine Gordini Original interior 4 on-the-floor with 4 wheel Disc brakes Garage-kept for the last 40 years Was in 1 minor front driver side fender bender, which is why the color is different, but we have the orginal dented parts as well.

Sample of spare parts that would be included in the sale are: 1 front bumper 2 back bumpers 3 wheels 2 tires 2 extra front seats 2 spare lights 2 back pieces 2 tail lights Protective pan that goes on the underside of the car

More pictures available upon request. Buyer would have to come to pick-up car no delivery/shipping available.

Dammit, why does it have to be so close. Its a good candidate for my usual VW tranxaxle/Subie motor swap...oh not my "usual" since I've only done it once but a 2nd one would be fun.

Some details from the seller

"ran when parked" in the early 90s. Was grandpa's car, passed away, family wants to sell.

Looks like alot of spares to go with it.

I'll know more Saturday ;)

A high school buddy of mine had a Dauphine back in the 60s. He got killed in an automobile accident along with two other friends at a notorius intersection between Orangeburg and the beach. I'm not sure if he was driving the Dauphine on that day.

Barring any unforseen circumstance and assuming a little flexibility on the part of the seller it will be mine soon.....I've done darn near everything else, but never French, need to check that one off the bucketlist.
