I used to own that car, bought it in 2006 from a guy on this board and sold in 2007. Car has an awesome suspension and cage (done by pro shop, top $). Looks like new owner put new wheels and dash on it and was planning to do engine swap.

That's my old car, that I built and sold to Schumi. E. J. Trivette did the cage. He used to build stockcars in Atlanta in the '80's, and has amazing fabrication skills. Great handling car in ITB trim, just needed more power.

Small world. That's my old car. Guess I fit somewhere in the middle of this chain of custody. I had it with the intention of running HPDE. I ran a few autox with it, but never got to run it on a big track. It was awesome in HPDE. One of the events I ran was sponsored by the local Corvette club, so I was running against mostly C5s and C6s. Put the car midpack against those beasts.

Wow this car has some history here in GRM-land. It is like a local working girl. Seems a sweet deal as well.

Too bad "some history here in GRM-land" can't be translated to "provenance" and then sell this thing at Barrett-Jackson for $200K !

I know the Clown personally! Maybe that can translate to $2k?
