$1300 1988 Honda Civic Hatchback - swapped JDM ZC 1.6L with <70k miles 150k miles on the body, only 70k on the engine and transmission.
Less than 70k miles on the ZC 1.6L engine and the ZC 5 speed manual with the 3.88 final drive.
DC Sports Header, Cold air intake, full 2.5" exhaust. 140+HP. Upgraded Integra ECU. The Hatchback is the lightest EF Chassis. Quick and full to drive!
Polyurethane engine and transmission mounts. They transmit a lot more road noise into the car, but are a lot more solid than stock rubber mounts.
Mild Honda surface rust, but very solid underneath. I applied POR15 and painted over the surface rust. None of it has come back.
Leather seats out of a Prelude and an Integra 3 spoke steering wheel.
Good brakes and tires
New timing belt and water pump
Third gear can grind when you shift at high RPMs. I can also include a good Si transmission (very desirable because it has a 4.25 final drive).
