Wow, for $500 it doesn't seem like you could lose on that car. If I was closer I think I would buy it and replace the diff, it's just too nice looking (at least in the itty bitty picture?) to part out.

You can't lose on it for that price. You could part it for $1000 pretty easily i would bet.
I also HIGHLY doubt the diff is gone.
