    Don't think of the jokes.

Think of how much it's like an Elise.

Sub-2000 pound curb weight; engine borrowed from an economy car by one of the world's biggest automakers; more fun than it has any right to be.

Kidding aside, it's an 88, so it's an 1100/4speed. The motor is the same as a Fiat 128 or X1/9. Parts available pretty much anywhere.

I've rebuilt the front calipers and the carburetor; added relays to the electrics to keep the switches from melting.

Took it out this weekend; fired up first shot on the key and had a blast on the back roads.

    Located in Lexington, KY.

    Mr. Duty, you are correct.

Mr. GT2, let me know what you'd like to see, and I'll try to get it tonight when I get home.

Mr. of Understeer, I've had really good luck I guess. Minor stuff -- switches, sensors -- is off-the-shelf X1/9 or 124; I've even found a few things in stock at FLAPS. Motor stuff is normal SOHC Fiat stuff, so the usual Fiat places. Midwest/Bayless is becoming a new favorite, because they're good with the SOHC stuff, but IAP isn't bad. There's a guy named Jay in Texas; runs a place (or did, anyway) called Orion. Lots of actual Yugo pieces.

Mr. Thw8: aw, it's only about 12 hours away. You know you want it.

Ha. I saw it earlier on eBay while checking semi-local listings before I saw the thread. Best of luck with the sale.

Semi-local-er than you think. I work in E-town.

    Thanks for the good wishes.
