That looks just like my old 93. It was actually an extremely reliable car, maybe because there was nothing to break. The ultimate no frills car for the 90s.
After working at the scene of an accident, I can't see those as anything other than deathtraps.
You could make it into this..
Of course we had to cheat .... I mean interpret the rules to our advantage,.. like hell to make it do anything.

First it was a BA/BE Rally car (it looked a little different then), then it was transformed into a demolition derby car. I ran it in three derbies until it threw a rod through the block. Oh, it had 300k miles and I hadn't checked the oil since New Orleans.
