    PRICE REDUCTION

Bought with the best of intentions.... and haven't touched in in 6 months... just too many other irons in the fire...

    http://www.fnader.com/Laforza.htm

Likely one of the most solid on this coast... needs paint and minor electrics but I bought it due to the sound body and cheap mechanicals.

302 engine knocks... but I drove it home 100 miles. Strongly recommend towing it though (and I can't help as it won't fit on my trailer). Trans and trasnfer case appear to work fine.

Now the 302 is marginal for a vehicle this size, so I bought a 1992 Bronco with a reportedly fresh 351W (and some sort of performance exhaust). Runs like a new engine, but no docs. Ford AOD is dead except for 1st and sometimes 3rd. AC system even seems to work!

Older but virtually unused tries, Warn manual hubs, etc make the parts value even after the engine is stolen reasonable...

    http://fnader.com/Bronco.htm

I discovered that the 351 won't fit under the Laforza bonnet without converting to the shorter Mustang intake, so I bought the adapter plate that allows the Mustang upper to bolt to the truck lower.

That means that I think the only missing piece for the swap is an oil pan... there is an aftermarket one on Ebay that looks like it would work but I was going to swing the engine in and do some measuring.

A weekend or two worth of work would likely complete the swap. I just don't have the time. If I find the time, i'll do the swap and keep the Laforza.

Laforza is licensed and insured; clear title. Bronco has a clear title as well.

$2010 firm for everything.. a lot less than what I have in it.. PRICE REDUCTION: $1800 for the pair or $1500 for the Laforza alone

I'm going to put my running/driving/working AC virtually rustfree Bitter SC 3.9 on the market as well (with or without the 52k LS1 I was going to drop into it) but it's going to be about twice the price limit here...

    Info on LS1? Got a 6 speed?

Auto trans (attached and included)... to simplify the Bitter swap. I even have a serpentine pully adapter to keep the old working R12 compressor.

Not interested in selling it separately until the Bitter is gone... if I keep the Bitter it will end up with the LS1 under the hood...

How much would you pay, and would you ship from Chicago for one? I'm serious.

Right now, not much. Let me sell a few things and get back to you.

Unless you want to use it as a partial trade for my Volvo.

Well, Volvo would be cool... But unfortunately, it'd be cool for me, not for my great aunt. She has that exact same fridge in her basement of the home that she just sold. Its closing sometime next month... I don't believe that the fridge has been given away.

Since I've been asked several times offline, the general price range for the Bitter is $5000-about $7500 depending what stuff folks would like with it. Once I figure out how to post it in the regular GRM classifieds, I'll add it there with more detail.

I also neglected to mention that on both it and the Laforza package, I'm open to "interesting" trades up or down... but at this point would only consider something turnkey... if I had time to finish my projects, I'd rather do it on what I have.

Define "interesting"? Darn hard to say. My interests are varied and I'd be as likely to find some impractical Italian microcar or some stody Brit sedan as interesting as an AMC Matador as a a '48-53 Chevy 5 window pickup. And I've been known to have unnatural attractions to Bill Mitchell era GMs even though they don't really fit my general idea of "interesting"... so try me out if you think you may have a deal of interest to you...

Price reduction. How about $1800 for the pair or $1500 for the Laforza alone? ( A 302 is a direct drop in... using the 351 out of the Bronco will likely require some modifcation to the Bronco oil pan or an aftermarket piece)

Bitter SC is still available as well and I'm willing to deal....
