"...25 fills it up." TWENTY FIVE what....gallons? Where I live gas is a bit more expensive than it is in Ga. but even so, $25 dollars worth of gas will only fill this car if it already has a half full tank.

BTW, this is NOT a GT. GTs had spoilers on the trunklid, this car has a wing on the trunklid. On a GT you can not run your hand under the tips of the spoiler as it sits on the fender. This is a run-of-the-mill, 1.9 liter OHC NON-Mazda powered Escort with a Sport package that someone has added GT-type wheels to.

    Pssssst: It IS a GT.

Starting 93, they got the normal "wing" and had different side skirts as well.

In terms of looks, there's three somewhat distinct GTs.

    1) 91-92. 5-spoke wheels, tall-end sideskirts, 3-piece spoiler.
    2) 93. "rounder" and much nicer 5-spoke wheels, thin skirts, and the "wing."
    3) 94+. Same as 93, but with the 7-spokes.

$25 to fill it up might be an exaggeration, but not a huge one. These things had seriously small tanks.

Nope. The stupid wraparound wing ends in I think 94 or 95. Then it had the LX type wing, I think.

for 94 you could order an EGT with the pedestal wing, in 95 they were standard

My 93 has the one-piece wing as well....

I will be swapping it out for the 3-piece wraparound. (Then probably a huge spoiler later.)

You can take the section off the hatch and have fins like I did with my EGT

Oh man, that reminds me of one of the most awesome things about these cars. I LOVE the pop-out windows in the back of these!
