Haven't you always wished you could be on the ground floor of the next collectible trend? Want to cash in at Barret-Jackson in 20 years? Here is your chance!

My incredibly rare Sony Edition Focus sedan is now available for purchase. This stellar vehicle features 5 speed manual trans (3rd gear syncro weak), air conditioning (broken), power everything (2 new window regulators!), alloy wheels (missing one center cap), cloth seats, rear defrost (half broken) and the rare "Going Platinum" paint color (shedding on the hood in small chunks). Oh, and the Sony speakers are still in the doors! (But the head unit and subwoofer are gone).

Picture yourself behind the wheel rowing the (crunchy) gearbox and enjoying the powerful DOHC Zetec engine that delivers (no crap) astonishing fuel economy. Bask in the knowledge that the first 216,000 miles have found all the weaknesses in the design and you can now just roll along on 4 new Firestones, new rear brakes, 1 year old front brakes and fresh PA inspection in this shockingly rust-free example of Ford's coveted New Edge styling. All of this can be yours for the paltry sum of $1500. I may foolishly consider trading for a street legal dual sport motorcycle or flux capacitor.

You forgot to mention the various "strategically" placed dents and dings modeled after a golf ball to increase fuel mileage.

Yes, you are right. Very careful aerodynamic modifications were made in the McLaren wind tunnel to increase top speed efficiency.

Just not to this car.

Just curious, is that still badged "ZTS" on the trunk even though it's a "Sony Edition"?

No, this one claims to be a "SE". Now that you mention it, that is peculiar.

Yeah, I always thought SE always meant SPI engine in those early Foci.

Inexplicably still for sale because nobody except people on this board drive stick anymore. Bumping in the hope someone will give it a new home.
