Moving out in a week, lost my job, and starting college means I'm in a sizable financial hole right now. Racing is no longer part of my equation unfortunately. I need my kart gone as its about all I have to sell off thats worth anything.

Its a 2002 Kartmini chassis with a 2004 Rotax Jr. TAG (has on-board starter and battery) motor, rated for 21hp. Motor is sealed, has a valid passport, and only has 13.5 hours on it. Comes with: several rear sprockets all of the rotax legal jets 2 sets of wheels with the Rotax spec Bridgestones and a tire bag a spare set of MG Greens for autocrossing (unmounted) Deepseat mounted, Tillet XL seat unpadded as a spare, mounting hardware new chain, never installed, and 219 chain breaker tire bead breaker Rotax charger 4 or 5 spare plugs Kart stand

And probably more I'm forgetting.

I'm also throwing in my Size 60 Sparco kart suit, simpson neck brace, sparco kart shoes (Euro 60?, US size 11), a large sparco rib protector and a second medium sized rib protector (not sparco).

Can add my sparco gloves and Bell SportIII helmet for an extra $200.

When its time for a rebuild, you have the shop convert it to a Sr. cylinder and add the powervalve for a few extra bucks. The beauty of the Rotax package is all of their engines have the same base.

5'10", about 215#'s. The current DeepSeat is a medium I think and is a TIGHT fit for me. The brandy-new XL Tillet T8 seat that also comes with it is a lot roomier, just add mounting holes and use the included bolts. ;)

Oh yeah, convince me that you might want it, and I'll bring it out to one of the MD kart tracks or a WDC SCCA autocross so you can test drive it (and then you'll really want it).

Unfortantly that would out weigh the costs of a sealed Sr. I would make you a offer but I don't want to low ball you.

How so? A new senior motor package is around $3500. A rebuild and conversion is about $1700.

Or hell, leave it a Jr. motor and autocross it while you get your feet wet. You'll still likely get FTD in your local region unless you have a bunch of shifter's or AM cars, and when its time for a top-end in another 11.5 hours (thats at least a full year of autocrossing, if not two) get it converted then. Also, I believe the Jr. motor is still TAG-legal, getting you on track and learning and away from the carnage at the front.

Ok, here's a more complete parts list for everyone that is or might be interested. The kart will come with:
- 3 sets of tires (2 sets Rotax-spec Bridgestones, same compound as YHC's, that are mounted one one set of MG Greens that are unmounted). All tire sets are 2 front 4.5x10x5 and 2 rear 7.1x11x5. Rear wheels are beadlock.
- Bag for one set of wheels/tires
- A complete set of jets (155, 158, 160, 162, 165, 168, 170, 172, 175, 178, and 180, the 162 jet is currently installed)
- 4 NGK BR10EG plugs, +1 installed on motor
- 1 Denso Iridium IW27 plug
- spare nuts, washers for wheel bolts
- catch can for carb (not installed)
- several feet of fuel line
- a set of rear gears (68T, 70T, 74T x2, 75T x2, 76T x2, 78T x2, 80T, 83T, 85T, one of the 76T gears is currently installed)
- New spare 114L DID 219 Chain, the heavy duty one
- 219 pitch Chain braker
- Misc. fluids and lubes (Motorex Chain lube and oil, redline premix oil)
- Ratio Rite cup for mixing fuel
- Brand new, never mounted, Tillet T8 unpadded seat (XL)
- Carbon Fiber Deepseat thats currently installed (Medium I think)
- Rotax battery charger thats needs repaired, and a TaG trickle charger from Comet Kart Sales thats basically new
- Spare driver fairing
- MyChron3 data system
I started the kart up this afternoon after doing the above inventory and literally brushing off the cobwebs. It cranked and started easily, quickly settled into a good idle, and warmed up as it should. I did not test drive it as I found the brakes are dragging, the springs look like they need to be lubed and/or replaced. The axle spins freely. When I last drove it the clutch engaged right around 3500-4000rpm if memory serves.
