spent the day helping my best friend get the motor and trans, rear diff, etc out of his 75 280Z donor. we were kicking around selling off his spares to clear up room and money. hes not quite ready to let it go yet, but i wanted to give you guys a heads up on this first. probably looking at the end of the month.
75 280Z was 4 speed car. rust in both front lower door jambs (never seen one rust there), and two holes on the front floor pans about 2 inches in diameter. no other rust other than surface that weve found. was hit in the front in the past and fixed. great doors, framerails, and front clip. no interior to speak of other than dash and seats and glass. sealer ac car. hes thinking 400 for it, with NC title (always been around charlotte. car was sold new at independance datsun)soild as a roller
89 ford 302 roller notor, with efi. ran great when pulled from mustang gt. 450.
92 mustang t5 trans. shifted great when pulled from mustang. with bellhousiung and flywheel (no clutch) 400
hes also got a custom built bolt in crossmember for the ford swap, and "stuff" leftover from his othercar to throw in for a package deal
would make someone a neat challenge/track car.
sell it all for 1400 is what we were thinking for a package. does this sound reasonable to you guys? something any of you want?
