"289 motor needs restoration"
I'm thinking that's not the end of the list.

Another CL user who believes that he will be charged for words used?
Ad should read:
....289 motor, needs restoration, RAN WHEN PARKED.
No, I'm not in any way connected to seller or this ad, just I never stop being amazed at why CL ads miss including the obvious. Heck, you are even allowed to edit them, yet they almost always read like they were posted as a "spur of the moment" thing.
BTW, most '68 Cougars should have had the 302, the 289 should only be in the very early production '68s. Wonder if seller even knows what is under the hood?

I believe great deals are sometimes missed because of searching the correct name on craiglist - you have to "troll".
Camaro, for example, in the craigslist world is spelled several different ways.
