    Just outside ATL??

Maybe if you are looking on a globe.

It's about a 2 hour drive, if you are NOT on the north side of ATL. Then, it is at least 30 minutes more.

I purchased one of these in December of 1974, the year and month I turned 16. Yes, the car got dragged all over the parking lot in high school. I do have fond memories of inviting 7 young ladies for the ride down the hill from school into town for lunch. If you find your self heading into Carmel from Highway 1 you might ponder the trip down hill and making every stop sign. No, I did not try the return trip.

My two year old car was already being consumed by the tin worm, sitting in pine needles is not helping that at all.

Working on those is akin to jumping into a swimming pool full of rusty razor blades. The timing chain tensioners wear out & the timing chain then beats the oil pump to death. And yes , they rust faster than a Fiat made with East German steel.

The guy who wants too much said:

I have read that there are estimated to be fewer than 300 of these cars in drivable condition.

And this is not one of them lol

I wanted one of those for a long time, but the feeling has gone away.

I remember being at the '81 Car Craft Street Machine Nationals and seeing one of those with a Chevy 454 in it. Seriously.

I'd put that on another chassis and drive it until the body rusted away. Real patina is sexy to me.
