This is the the cleanest 74 colt you will find in these parts of the country. It has a 2.6 mitsubishi turbo implant, 5speed 3 stage pressure plate bronze clutch. This car has been in california since new. Still has clean California title. 100 percent rust free. The pictures tell no lie. lots of money invested. drive anywhere 5950.00 call or text 773-five80-3104 original paint original paint original paint!

I may take a trade plus cash on your end....DON'T WANT YOUR JUNK. something like a 5 speed with high performance mods....text me what you have 773-580-310four

Drag race tires and rims on the front.
Is there major paint discoloration on the roof (driver's side)?

    Very cool car.

Still has Calif. title which may mean the current owner in WI never bothered to tilte it and could maybe make it difficult for new buyer to title it.
Could be a trailered drag racer.

    OK, help me out here...

What transmission would make that work?

With the 2.6 Im assuming they transplanted eng and trans from a Starion/Conquest

Never seen one on the east coast out in the wild, but its nice to know they exist. Turbo swap to boot.

There tend to be some older rwd toyotas left out here, favored by the latino crowd.

Probably, but the Arrow (pretty much the same car) was also available with a 2.6 and 5 spd. I think it was Chryslers fastest car in 78

    KoolE36 M3 car but it's $3939 over budget here.

Is that the one with a split shift, ala two speeds to every gear?

I suppose it could be argued that this car is priced a little bit on the high side, but considering the rarity, clean looks, and the mechanical condition, we are talking high as in "maybe a few HUNDRED....certainly not overpriced by a factor of 3 or 4 times.

    As others have noted:

what's the deal with the roof on the driver's side?

It looks like it's got a grey square, or there is a photo malfunction.

What's the deal with the title?

After watching too many episodes of People's Court, I'm definitely not buying a car when the seller isn't available...in the next room, much less the next time zone.

And I'd definitely ditch the skinny front tires, as I would think they conflict with a sleeper look.
