Talked to the DMV today, and I am going to send in a form tomorrow or Friday and see what they say. I am going to type up a short note explaining the circumstances and print out the GA laws from their web site. Hopefully I will know more soon, I would love to sell it to you! The next time I get a chance I will take a new pic with the other wheels too; they look pretty sweet in my opinion. I'm assuming you are still interested?

Yeah, definitely still interested. I may have some time christmas weekend (fri. or monday) to come see/purchase if you get the title sorted out by then. I have a feeling it'll take a little longer than a week for them to process, though. If you're gonna try to snap some pics, can you try and get some more of the frame/body? We're not expecting perfect but would need to verify approximate condition before making an offer realistic for both us and you.

As soon as I hear something from the DMV I will let you know. The car is at my buddy's storage unit, so I need to get over there to get some info off of the car to put on the title application (mileage, GVWR, some other random stuff, etc.) I'll try to do that on Saturday and get some more pics to post up. I am definitely wiling to work with the price just to get it sold. I will readily admit it's not perfect, and I already know I am going to lose money on it, so if I can get a half-way decent price for it and it will go to somebody who is going to enjoy it, I'm fine with that. I'll keep you posted.

Nothing yet. I set the motor back in the car today cuz I needed to get it out of my buddy's storage unit. I think I might try to call the DMV on one of my lunch breaks this week and do some follow-up. Hopefully I don't get the same dumb lady on the phone as I did last time. :-)

So I got a reply from the DMV today, and it doesn't look like they are gonna give me a title. I am going to try to make a few more phone calls, but I'm not sure how far that will get me. Apparently they don't realize that I can't submit a GA title because I DON'T HAVE ONE! Dumb VA.

Yeah, I'm not sure I want to pay $795 for a title at this point. Looks like I may have it sold anyway. I'm not holding my breath, but a guy is supposedly driving here from Tennessee next weekend to get the car from me, and he doesn't care about the title issue. We shall see...

CAR IS SOLD!! Now I am off to find a fun, gas sipping, 5 speed, econo-car that I can rock until I can save up for(and more importantly find) a solid 2- or 4- door 510 for my next project.
