I put plates on this thing on Monday and have been dailying it since. I love it but that being said, I really DON'T have the room! $1500 to challengers/GRMers!

    PICS HERE Photobucket

1977 Fiat X1/9 track car. 4-speed, 1500 swap from '81 car (retaining '77 carb setup, but with '81 electronic ignition). Interior stripped bare except seats and dashboard. Custom aluminum center console. '81 gauges with neat-o reverse tach. Aftermarket radiator, sway bars, control arms, brakes, and springs. Lowered. New clutch, timing belt & tensioner (less than 100 miles on all). Have quite a few spare parts that will go with, including 5-speed transmission from '81 and some rare body parts. Runs EXCELLENT, could hop in and drive to California tomorrow if necessary. Hood-vented radiator keeps the car COOL and also keeps the nose from lifting at high speed. Targa top is fun in the sun. Clean title. Going back to college, keeping all these cars is a silly idea, as much as I love them I just plain don't have the room. E-mail or call Desmond at 414.699.9487.

It seems like a great car, and if the hassle factor were lower in bringing it to Canada, I'd write you a check.

Curious, do those radiator air boxes up front really help?

If I wasn't hip deep in a Locost build, this would be mine!

From a cooling perspective, yes - drastically. From an aerodymanics perspective, well, my butt downforce sensor tells me that the front end isn't quite as floaty, but that one is arguable.
