thats what i was thinking too, but the E21 didnt have that crease in the hood going up from the kidney grills...

It looks like an E21 rear section with an E30 fenders/hood/bumper but its really difficult to tell if it isn't just a trick of the primer. It is probably just an E30 tub with a lot of bondo.
