Well- If it make it through lemons uncrushed, you are pretty darn close to having a spec E30 since you already have the cage in there.....
But a spec E30 with an anchor welded to the roof might not be that competitive.

I've had that exact thought. The fantastic article on the Sentra SE-R in the most recent GRM that started life as a Lemons entry really gave me the impetus to go down this path.
