A 89 Civic wagon just popped up on CL here for $600. Looked very clean and only 132k miles, but seller is leaving town in 3 days and wants it gone today. I called 30 minutes after it posted only to be told it sold. I guess somebody called within minutes and bought it sight unseen. I guess I gotta get even quicker!

Clay if you have a smartphone you can find apps to help with that. I've got one on my Droid that usually notifies me within minutes of a posting with my keywords in it. And before anyone asks currently they are miata rx7 Nikon paintball.

That would be nice, but my phone is pretty dumb. Doesn't even have internet. I do have my Igoogle set up to search certain keywords and the searches are updated every time I go to my homepage. This is how I saw the add within 20 minutes of it posting (which I thought was pretty good). During a work day I'll usually see an add within 30 minutes of it posting. Of course if I have to call on it within 5 minutes to have a shot at it or it if posts after my work day or on a weekend, I'm probably out of luck.
