    Hey all,

Neighbor has a 92-95 Civic Si in black for sale.

It's a 5 speed, has rusty quarter panels and a smashed driver's side door.

It's got about 197k miles on it and it needs a clutch at minimum.

It's been in his family since brand new and was never smoked in.

I didn't drive it or look it over much.

I was going to just buy it and sell it. He's very negotiable on the price.

I was reluctant to list it here because I'm always in need of money and I wanted to flip it, but you all have helped me so much along the years and I'm hoping I can pay this one forward.

He told me "Somewhere between $200 and $900"

This has the SOHC vtec motor (d16z6), the short ratio transmission, and rear disks. I think the Si also has the sunroof and the rear wiper. If I didn't have the Subaru project I would get the bodywork done and the suspension sorted and call it a day.

You mentioned it needs a clutch, is it completely gone, or just slipping?

Anything else wrong with the car?

I honestly dont know much about the car. I do know it was inspected and was being daily driven until he determined the clutch needed to be replaced. He's kind of a "ah berkeley it" kind of guy so I figure if it was still drivable he'd be driving it.

Hard to say if anything else is wrong with the car.
