Thinking of selling this and starting on another project for the challenge. Thought I would see if there's any interest in it.
92 VW GTi 8v 5spd Plexiglas sunroof not installed yet but cut out and ready to go in Currently sitting on 14 inch wheels with worn rubber Front suspension consists of shortened and revalved A1 struts with threaded collars and 500lb springs Rear suspension is bilstiens with threaded collars and 400lb springs Poly bushings all around Custom AC delete Will likely come with a set of illumina strut inserts, stock rear shocks that have been revalved, set of 600lb springs, a full set of gr2's with sportline springs. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out but that's the general gist of it. Oh yeah a set of aluminum 13x6 wheels.
Front bumper has been removed and the cover put back on. Fan is wired up to a switch on the dash. Push button start. Has a header on it. Front motor mount has been welded so it will not separate on a hard launch.
Was going to shave the rear hatch, Turbo the wee out of it and paint it for 2011 but as I said I'm thinking of another project for this year and don't have enough room in the budget for two challengers at the moment.
The bad Orange as in it's bright orange with red sills and black bumpers No interior One of the tires on it has a slow leak. Needs air every couple of weeks. Loud, exhaust consists of a pipe off the collector through a minivan presilencer and dumped. Drivers seat needs rehashing or replaced. Shifter needs work Engine needs valve seals
The good Rust free Corners like its on rails Only comment my autoX driver had at the challenge was it could use some toe in the back.
Any interest? Was thinking along the lines of 1000$ for it. I'll get some pics of it up later if anyone wants it.
It's her challenge car, gotta replace it with something she would want. "A honda?? CRX? uh those aren't that cute!" LOL
