From all of the Saturn info I came across when I was in the market for one a couple years ago, It is best to stay away from the 94 and earlier coupes due to the motors and interiors. According to most of the Saturn Guys, the 95 and 96 coupes are still of that body style in the ad and have the more powerful motors and better interiors.
