My MGB would be happy if I bought a Miata drivetrain for it.

I have a low-mileage trans for a 1.8. If you need it, please let me know. Is this for a challenge car?

Edit: forgot to mention I am looking for a 1.6 engine.
I may need that trans, there is someone with a complete engine for $100 near me but no trans.
It is for a challenge car, hopefully this year. If not, it will be 2010.

any particular reason you want a 1.6L?

After reading the MGB GT miata swap in the magazine I would like to go with the shorter engine to avoid the complications of using the 1.8, such as moving the steering rack.

I've got a 12a with transmission if you're open to other options.

No thanks, I have access to a 12a with transmission for free but would rather use a miata engine.

You want a whole car? I have one on this forum under "Cheap Miata".
