1972 (or is it 71?) MFG gypsy 15 foot speedboat with a Johnson 65 outboard motor.

Has a trailer with it. (cox, I think.. would have to look)

Boat was purchased new by my grandfather and utilized on Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland. The boat is titled in my name, but I never changed the trailer title over. (Have trailer title, grandfather is deceased, my mother is the power of atty for the estate if it needs help, we have it)

The trailer The only time the trailer has left the community in the last few decades was a time or two going a few miles for some work at Bills Marine Services. The electrical system on the trailer is non-functional (i think, havent tested it). The axles would need lubrication and the tires would need to be replaced before any lengthy trip. (Can do the work if you need) The trailer is sound otherwise with light patina (hey, its from 1972) and could probably could stand to have the bunks recarpeted.

The Boat The boat is what I would call "General Lee Orange". I acquired it from my grandfather in non-running condition and invested in brand new carbs ($500) to get it up and running. Boat runs pretty well and can achieve 38knots speed in smooth water. The bad on the boat, the transom needs reinforcement. Went over a bump with the motor up and it weakened it. The boat runs and works fine with it in its current condition and all it needs to my belief is a steel or aluminum plate sandwiching the weak part (pull motor, install plate, reinstall motor. not too bad really) The horn and nav lights do not work, I was in process of running through the electrical system and its not hooked up. Boat currently needs a battery.

Comes with boat cover that is aging poorly. the thread at the seams on the canvas deteriorated and came undone. You can have it stitched up, or use the old cover as a pattern (canvas is still viable if you want to stitch and use), or just get a universal cover. Also has what I would call a "bikini top" that I have never installed. Bikini top is aged, but with some work on the snaps could be used.

Boat is at Deep Creek Lake, MD at my mothers house. I am currently in Pittsburgh. Pictures of the boat will be forthcoming when I next pass through. I have been read an ultimatum by my mother that the boat must be sold by July. Also, I am job hunting and could REALLY use the money to make ends meet. I haven't gotten to enjoy the boat as much as I would have liked to in the last few years due to school and other life.

Price is $1500 and the location is Western MD.

Boat is similar in appearance to the one seen in this Ad http://nh.craigslist.org/boa/2766528433.html (NOT MY BOAT)
