I lost a wiring clip that goes from the engine wiring harness to the fuel injector on my friend's new to him 98 M3. Its a small wire clip, not the fuel injector clip that holds the injector into the fuel rail, but the clip that holds the wiring plug onto the injector.
Its still in the engine bay somewhere... But I can't seem to find it. The dealer told me I had to buy the wiring harness ($1087) because they don't sell the clips alone. 
Tried a couple parts places and was told to go look in a junkyard. I'm junk yard impaired at the moment and was hoping to have one in hand by the weekend.
Does anyone have one that they could spare? Thanks a bunch!

I have nod had a chance to dig down to the injectors on the E36 yet but I suspect this would do the trick.

Stuart, Yeah, that's what the dealer was talking about. Unfortunately the clip we need isn't on that list. Supra wes, that is close to what the plug looks like, but all I need is the little wire clip that secures that plug on the injector. Right now we've successfully secured it with a piece of safety wire wrapped around and twisted to hold things tightly together. I think that will have to do until I can either get to a junk yard, or get over the fence to the neighbor's yard and pop the hood on his 325is!

Tons of cars should have those little clips. You can see the clip in the picture attached to the plug on the DIYautotune website.

- Junkyard is your friend
- ebay is not your friend but can be used as a hostile alliance
- What you need is not BMW specific... its Bosch specific ...Fords are plentiful.
Basically what everyone else said above but I am a post whore so I felt compelled to comment.
