You may have noticed that the marketplace has now been rolled into our classifieds here on the site. Why should you post your car or parts there?

    1. It's easy. It uses the same login as the board, and knows all of your user info.
    2. It's secure. You don't have to post your contact info online at all, so the spammers can't get you. Buyers can contact you through the built-in contact form. We'll even draw a map for you.
    3. You can sort by all kinds of different criteria, including "less than $2008".
    4. You can have your ad included in the magazine if you like
    5. You can upload up to 4 pictures right from your desktop.

And isn't the <$2008 section going to replace this?

    Shouldn't it be <$2009?

    I am just asking

Is there a way to edit posts on the new classifieds section??

You can remove it if it's sold, but not edit it.

Are the New Classifieds 'searchable'? If not, any chance they can be made so?

They're currently sortable by category and make, which lets you hone in pretty well. Search is a possibility at some point.

I do not see how to remove it... Is there a book, thesis, manual or slightly used piece of toilet paper with this information scribbled on it anywhere?

    Much love and kisses,

If it's yours, it should just be there when you go to the item. If you're not seeing it, drop me a line and let me know which item. I'll figure it out.

I think the classifieds are a good thing but I hope this forum stays the way it is. I do not have the time to bounce around between forums and I really like the banter on the 2008 site. So I check out one site each day and I like this one.
