Dunno how expensive it would be to ship it from Western Canada from where I am, to wherever you are, but I am not looking for anything for a the book itself. Ie free, assuming I'm allowed to do that here? May be that it would take 16 or 17 dollars to get it to you

I have seen Chilton's that cover "systems" in general, but the ones I've seen are year specific (say 1995-2005) and / or system specific, as in BRAKES.

From the OP here, it's is hard to tell what you need/are looking for. (Or is my ESP on the fritz again?)

sorry for the confusion- I'm trying to sell it. It was one of several things I listed quickly. I used to refer to it occasionally, but haven't in a couple years, and hate to toss it

I'm really confused about what is being sold here. Is it a shop manual for a specific vehicle or system? Or is it some god manual for every car made between x and y years?

They made generic import/domestic manuals. Pretty big and hard to read through but a good way to get pretty good info on a whole range of cars.

It sounds like it could be really cool.

There are car ones also, I actually don't have THAT one but I have them up to '87 in either Motor or Chiltons

Yes same as that, but that's the domestic version, what I have is for imports.

(not specifically coming back to bump my posts, (honest!) - it's just that I discovered the "my posts" link at the top of the board. Cool feature.)
