    not mine, not affiliated...

    I have a 1987 Chrysler Mini stock with a well built roll cage, 4 wheel coil overs,4 wheel disk brakes,highly modified 2.5 Jeep engine fresh from the mechanical shop. Needs assembled.     Throw some plates on it, and run it as is on the street. That is some mad max types of E36 M3 right there. LOVE IT.

    Looking at the cage installation in the last pic really scares me.

    Is that square tubing part of the cage?

    Shouldn't the cage attach to the body with foot plates instead of just welding another section to the O.D. of the tube?

    Since it's a classified ad for a car that you're not going to buy, I'm wondering why you are scared.

    It's not possible to tell by the pics if the cage is any good or not, but square tube as part of a cage is acceptable in some circumstances.

    The cage installation is what scares me.

    I've never seen square tubing used for a cage in anything other than an exoskeleton for a rock crawler.

    I'm no engineer or scrutineer but that cage does not look safe to me.
