I'm selling my little 1987 Chevy Turbo Sprint, which is the forerunner to the Geo Metro. These cars get great milage and are fun to drive. This one has cruise control and good cold air conditioning. It only as 103K miles on it, so there are many years of service left in it. I have taken it on three trips of over 1000 miles in the last year, and wouldn't think twice about heading out for San Francisco tomorrow. Well, except for the fact, that I don't actually want to go to San Francisco. Good tires, brakes, battery, and everything works. Doesn't overheat and doesn't use oil.
The original window sticker for this car says it gets 43mpg on the highway, but I've only done better than 40 miles a gallon a couple of times. Still, that's not too bad, and there aren't many low mileage cars in this price range that will do as well.
