That would be cool to, but I bet taht thing does mean brodies being RWD.

It seriously frightens me that he has moved on to an "airplane project". This may well be the strangest thing I've seen on CL. And that means a lot.

Still has the tilt steering wheel.

    In that case...I'll take it!

Are you looking for a car trailer? I have one to sell if you are near Atlanta.

I have a 18' steel deck thats built like a tank(not a complaint really, just a description), but I was seeing what was out there for an aluminum rig.

I just picked up a car('98 Integra) this past weekend and it was about 475 miles round trip. I got about 12-13 mpg empty, about 11-12 loaded, but in severe gusty crosswinds/head wind. I use a '02 Tahoe 5.3L w/tow package. It does a great job, I'd just like to lighten the load for her a little.

And I'm in NH, a bit of a "haul" down your way.

If there ever was to be a "100X rallyX challenge" this seems to be just the sort of rig for it. Rally-X rigs being on the dumpy side of the motorsports spectrum(for the most part, settle down you late model Subie owners ) I think a grand is a decent budget point.

    So who's in???

It seems to be shaping up nicely. Shall we do a reverse score with real judges for the concours, or shall we use 5th graders as judges?

Who shall host it? Pennsylvainia seems like a good bet to find a few acres to tear up. Plus the Nelson clan should be able to whip something up to school us all and still make the $2009 Challenge .

Who knows someone who knows someone???

+1 & +100000000 for 5th graders as judges. I will make a speedo face that goes to 300mph and have a big red button that say nitro. I will win for sure

Penn sounds good, and i +12 the 5th graders.

As long as they're redneck boy 5th graders. With coonskin hats.

I'm sure I could talk the owners of the Back 40 proving grounds into use of our playground for such an event if there was interest in having something in Missouri.

    I'm just sayin'

    NO.

I would, however, be interested in the rallyX challenge if it's near Georgia. And, can we have a $500 class for RWD cars? See the post a few headers down for the RX-7 I just picked up.

By that age most will already have 1k+ miles logged behind the wheel of their "feild cars" Not sure what this kind of jading will do.

if this were to happen in PA, i would have to be there at least as a spectator
