It sat under the 360 body for a while. Now the 360 is getting a full tube frame.

    Want it back?

Kind of. That was my original idea, but Subie never made a FWD transmission that wasn't wimpy, and it is likely the WRX motor will overpower it. The better way to do a Subie mid engined drivetrain is to use an AWD tranny and weld the output of the propeller shaft.

It could work with an ultralight car.

Second problem is that the FWD tranny is effectively much longer than the AWD tranny. The shift linkage comes out the back of the tailpiece (AWD comes out the top), so by the time the whole thing is assembled, and the shift linkage turned around to get back to the middle of the car, you've got a long assembly, which won't fit in an ultra small car.

I think I have a computer. I'll have to check.

Sweet, that should be a fun car.

Yes and no, I have way too many projects that I need ot get rid of/finish before I take on any more. I'd love to build a manx style buggy at some point though. It what me and my dad were planning on doing with it before.

I've got the computer. Maybe a harness, but probably cut..

    Yes.

As long as this thread has been revived, I'll go ahead and say that I've still got almost everything listed in this thread.

The only stuff I sold was the Northstar, the blue Yugo shell, and the 16V VW head.

No chance there are any stock height Subaru springs and struts in the barn?

Now I want the Justy too... Is it a five speed and does it have the EF10 or EF12?

Which Subie? Certainly yes on SVX or Justy stuff, maybe on WRX or Impreza.

I need to win the lottery to fuel my older Subaru addiction, that's all there is to it.

After doing some research, from what I have gleaned, it seems the 1.2 was the only engine offered in '88.
