    Iron block in the truck, Aluminum in the viper.

    I cannot remember what was particuarly wrong, but those engines in the trucks had some kinda massive problem. There were so many replacements and remanufactured engines needed that Cummins Reman was contracted to do the work. Apparently the remans held up mucho betterer...

    They used to rebuild them in Charleston.

    Compressed cork headgaskets the same problem every mid 90s Chrysler product had. Made very difficult in the trucks because of engine placement
