Huskies were relatively popular when I was growing up in Quebec. Back then the "big" Ski-Doo was 12.5 HP. As power levels grewto 25, 40 etc. the front drive, dragger style snowmobiles disappeared. You ought to see one of these with 50 or more horsepower trying to turn a corner at speed. It's just massive understeer. They can't be powered up like a "conventional" snowmobile, that's why they disappeared.
