So my girlfriend's co-worker's dad (never met/talked to the guy, never even met the coworker) was a big Alfa fan back in the 60s/70s and imported a bunch of engines and parts from Italy. He's apparently got a bunch of nice old Alfa parts that he wants to sell now. He's got some parts in Cleveland and some in Downington, PA. Notable items include an engine (pictured), Duetto style spyder hood, hub caps, etc. If anyone's interested, let me know and I can get you his contact info.

Psst, Johny, it's Alfa Romeo (like on the cam cover casting). Not busting balls, just sayin'.

I think it would make a neat end table after setting a piece of glass on top.

I love the wing nuts holding the cam cover on. "Torque spec?" Yeah, right!

Looks like it comes with a 0170 cap instead of a 710 cap.

Depending on how old that engine is and which one it is its could possibly be worth $$$. I have no idea how to tell, but an alfa 4 cylinder in that condition can range anywhere from $200-$300 to $2k-$3k depending on the car it came out of.

Lordamercy, what's the service interval on re-torque, "snug weekly"?

[Mofo goes directly to hell for typing out a stereotypical Italian parts guy conversation]
