Me: Wifey what is this ?
Wifey: A BMW that has been ruined.
I love her.
Challenge car. Duh.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

That begs for the fattest wheels/tires and the highest boost you can throw at it.
It's kinda cool in a radical, 80's Koenig-esque way.
Miami Vice theme starts playing in head. I must be sicker than I thought, as I started thinking about what engine to put in there and how much fun it could be pimping old school in that thing
I like it, am broke and would look like a complete douche once I had Jim Ed put the Lamborghini scissor door kit on it.
Really, I think the worst of it is the rectangular headlights. The front flares aren't bad.. pretty close to the M3, really.
Allright, so the straked TR rear flares are a bit much, but I think MrJoshua's got it right. Just stuff an insane motor in there and roll with it.
Damn you! I'm less than 2 hours away! I'd add round headlights, E36 M3 load of boost, change the spoiler, and pimp the hell out of it
I like the lamps. It's a Euro trash thing I guess. I remember seeing a bunch of those grille/headlamp jobs in Tampa in the late 80s.
The wing is awful.
I'd also keep the square lights, and respray the whole lot in white. It would need to be packing some serious power to pull off that kit, though.
Damnit. Local and stupid... Sounds like my kind of car.

You forgot the part where you put the flares on something else...
For sure. I totally forgot that part. I'm not sure if Joe would would laugh or cry.
you sure he didn't put the Aston Martin Lagonda kit on it?

Always loved the Lagonda, especially the wagon version.
I remember some of the Koenig, Strosek and Gemballa conversions. I believe that Mike Tyson had a Koenig Testarossa.
As for the BMW, put some big spacers on the rear to get the wheels out, paint it metalflake green with gold trim and go pimpin'.
that begs the question, "what do you end up with when you polish a turd"?
I promise you, we're in the era of the muscle car right now, but a day WILL come when people are restoring the odd '80s coke smuggling testrossaBMWporsche.
DP cars will be the rage, as will stramann conversions, and Konig conversions.
sjd
Doesn't quite fit the budget requirements, but this one might be uglier. I'll take the wheels though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___BMW-3-Series_W0QQitemZ290245822795QQd...
