It is threads and offers like this that fuels my obsession to check every "for sale" board multiple times a day. I'm spiraling out of control.

To everyone else, thanks for the interest, obviously all the parts are spoken for
. Patgizz, others, I don't want to hear any "hate talk". John has a son a couple years away from getting his license, and my understanding is this is going to be a father/son project to pass on the passion for motorsports. I couldn't be happier that the parts are going to such a noble purpose

No kidding. If only I'd rushed straight home and refreshed every classified section of every board...
Oh well. I've acquired my share of perfect-timing deals to not be bothered too much. And it sounds like it is going towards a Good Cause, which is always a bonus.

The car...in some form...will be used to promote Diabetes Awareness (for my son). Not sure which way to go with it yet.
