This seems like as good a time as any to ask. I'm 27, maybe once a month or so I'll buy a handful of Hot Wheels while doing my grocery shopping to decorate my garage with. Yeah, when I was younger I'd actually take em out of the package and play with em, (and I have a Datsun 510 that I ripped out of its double pack packaging cause I didn't care for the Fusion cop car it came with). Anybody else collect these things and try not to think about how stupid they look when buyin them?

I have that Grand National, too. None of mine are wrapped, though. They are all loose and play-with-able.
I won't get in to what's on my desk at home, but at work I have the GN, the Coke Johnny Lightning '04 GTO, the red 930 and yellow Boxster from the History of Porsche Hot Wheels set, and a TARDIS USB hub. :)

My son, who's 21, collects all kinds of them. There's got to be at least a thousand of them in his collection room in the basement. He's constantly trading on the Hot wheels website. The mail ,UPS and FedEx show up at the house every other day with packages.

all are still in the package, except for my "stress release" 911 GT3RS that I keep at my desk at work.

I have that mustang too, although mine is red. Its not in very good shape though, it wasnt new when i got it, and I have had it since i was little. I buy hotwheels all the time, and i probably have 3500 of them.

Man, if anyone has a line on a regular hotwheels AE86 Corolla, Id pay for it. I have that oversized one in the pic above, but am really looking for a standard "hotwheel size" model, in the wrapper....apparently made out of unobtainium
Maroon/Deadskunk...you guys got any ideas where to look? Is there a way to tell if it even exists?

Isnt is still in the store? I know i have at least one somewhere, its a hatchback and its white. If I see more of them i will buy one for you.

Yeah, I buy the stupid things all the time. I restrict my Hot Wheels - sized stuff to Ferrari's, AMC"s, and whatever I own in real life only and I still have over a thousand kicking around. I'm even worse with 1/18th stuff and 1/24 plastic models...
