I just bought another '84 RX-7, and I forgot how fun these are. It's a GS, so rear drums and 4x110 (FROWN). I'm looking to build it up a bit over the winter to go autocrossing and run some track days in spring, does anybody have any 1g RX-7 performance parts or spares laying around?

I have a complete GSL disk brake axle sitting in my garage. It is out of an 83 so maybe it is the small axle unit(I forget the build date),but the centre section should work to give you limited slip that so many people want.

I have a lot of parts, let me know.

No unused LSDs as of now but that may change soon

I would actually be interested in that. It is probably small axle but I am likely going to stay 4x110 for a while anyways. Let me know what you're looking for and what shipping would run.

Would be interested in: Shocks, springs, sway bars, 4x110 wheels, exhaust stuff (have a line on an RB header & pre-silencer for $200 but would like to spend less), air pump block-off, probably an odd air filter to ditch the OE canister, engine & trans mounts, stuff like that. Also doing a clutch job, so a decent clutch kit, maybe a lighter flywheel could be of some use too.

I have an almost-new set of KYB gas adjust shocks and inserts and an RB high flow air cleaner that fits on the stock carb. I also have a set of suspension techniques lowering springs.

If he isn't intersted in those I would be for our lemons car. The autocross at the Challenge showed just how weak the springs and shocks are.

I have a complete set of 4 4x110 Hayashi Street II 4-spoke wheels (cast center/polished lip) with good tread Bavarus tires on them.

I also have a spare 5-speed trans, a set of 84-85 large bearing front strut/spindle assemblies with adjustable KYB cartridges, a wiper motor, a smooth (wiperless) rear hatch glass, some interior bits, and some other gubbins.

Came off of a running/driving car that was another failed Challenge project. Been stored in my shed for 2 years. Make offers, everything is Challenge friendly, though shipping may be a hassle from WA State.

Forgot, I also have a sweet set of 4-spoke Cragar S/S knock-offs in uni-lug form. Like 13" x 10" or something crazy. I also have 1 matching front (13 x 8?). Mount slicks to the rear pair, turn the leftover into a hose reel or something.

FYI: All GSL rears are 4x110, Only GSL-SE are 114.3 and the offset, brake, LSD, gear ratio are different also.

I have at least a pair of Tokico blues, stock rims, and probably stock sway bars. I have a GSL-SE 5 speed transmission also.

Most parts here are stock take offs.

I have a glass moonroof--genuine Mazda, deep tint. Will happily sell.

I also have a pair of Bilsten front strut inserts...almost new, again will happily sell.

I've got an 83 GSL that we are parting out. It has lots of Racing Beat equipment. Talk to me about what you need. I have the full true dual exhaust system starting with the header and ending at the twin tailpipe. I have the racing beat intake with Dellorto carb and RB air cleaner. I have the adjustable rear sway bar. I've got Tokico shock/ struts. And I have a nice set of 4x110 Performace Panasport copies that are 14x6". Let me know if you can use any of it.

Could I see the pics of the Weds? I have a set of 15"X7" Weds Auto Bahn's that I love, but they are a bit heavy. Also is the exhaust a single or dual system?

I would be interested in the ARE's for the right price (I think I am going to run 240Z flares) and also the engine stand adapter.

An 83 was my first car. My understanding from the RX-7 listserv was the drums were more than adequate and were lighter than the rear discs. Have I been operating under a misapprehension? Do the discs outperform the drums in a meaningful way on the 1st gen?
