I wanna purchase an SVO Mustang...preferably one with a blown headgasket or something (read cheaper) I need the head to be intact (not the valvetrain, just a good not-warped head). I would also prefer that it have the transmission in workable condition. the body is not really that important. If there are some other good parts that I could get rid of to fund the project that would be cool. I would prefer an 85 or 86.

I dont think id buy a car from someone that types like that... You are aware of the parts availability issues right? IMO, unless you really want an SVO you would be better off to build your own out of a non turbo mustang and a t-bird tc engine, and 5.0 suspension, etc. There arent enough parts available to keep them stock class legal for autocross as far as I know (unless you dont need to do any suspension work), so other than the look building your own would work just as well.
I've got a TurboCoupe T5 transmission in Houston and a non-running XR4ti (bad turbo) with Euro front grille and lights in Dallas. I'd like to get rid of both.
I want the parts for my solo mustang...head, 5 speed trans and 4 wheel disk most importantly. The hood would be nice, as would the seat, but not necessary. "and i dont want want me pants pulled down over the proice"

My brother has several 2.3 turbo motors laying around. Want me to ask if he has any of the parts you are looking for?
I think they are all out of Tbirds, not sure if that makes a difference.
He has a pretty stout built 2.3 with big ass bb turbo in his T bird. i called it the thunder terd. Its fun.

They'll all work. I wouldn't bother cannibalizing an SVO, just use Turbo Coupe stuff and get SN95 brakes. At least you can get the parts for those.
Yeah sure...usually the parts alone are more than a grand. Figured if i could pick up the whole car for cheap, i could recoup some of the cost.
Let me know what he needs for a t5 swap kit (pedals and all) and a turbo head.
he doesn't have a T5 swap kit and said he thinks the extra 5 speed he has is no good (someone gave it to him and it is of unknown condition) and he said the only head he would part with is off the engine that someone gave him with the transmission. and it is of similar unknown condition.
and then I got distracted and we started talking about motorcycles and I forgot to bring it up again.
