stimulator? is this similar to/same as/totally effing different from a O2 sensor stimulator?

Stimulator is used for powering up and testing MegaSquirt before installing it in a vehicle.

oh...
...a tubular header in a P11 G20 requires a new bung and wiring to be welded into the remaining exhaust, and a bunch of new wiring, or a simple O2 stimulator (simulator?)...wasnt sure if it was the same...carry on
