Very cool! I had one of those back in college in '93, '81 Celica GT 5spd coupe except it was light blue in color. It was the first car I bought with my own money, $500. :)

That looks just like our '06 BABE Rally car. Awesome car! How the heck do you crack a piston in one of these? With normal driving, it's like trying to crack an anvil with a plastic spoon.
We only paid $250 for ours from a guy in Jersey. Except for a couple of spots near the back window, there was almost no rust...and the paint was original! It would still shine up nice, but we let it haze for a nice BABE look.

I'd be all over that, if I could find a place to swap the engine... Good thing it's so far away. I don't know how he cracked a piston, AFAIK the 22R was indestructible

I don't know about bottom ends, but the 6ME in my same vintage Supra blew headgaskets like bubblegum bubbles and cracked the head on more than one occasions.

Yeah. That's an inline 6. And not a good one, at that.
